According to Bloomberg, Nokia has obtained an US$141 million order from India's BSNL, with which Nokia will provide BSNL mobile equipment. As an extension of the GSM/GPRS contract between Nokia and BSNL in 2004, the deal will expand BSNL's coverage in Northern India, including Jammu & Kashmir, Haryana, Uttaranchal, Uttar Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh, and Rajasthan, and bring two million new subscribers to BSNL.
